Fitting Your Custom Insoles
All Sport Insole:

1. Remove the original sock liner from your shoe. Usually these are removeable, but sometimes are slightly glued. Use the flat edge of a screwdriver to remove any excess foam or glue to ensure a smooth bottom of the shoe.
2. Insert the new orthotic into the shoe. It should fit all the way into the back of the shoe and sit flat on the bottom of the shoe.
If your insert is two pieces, fit the molded piece in first with the back of the orthotic placed all the way in the back of the shoe. Place the cushion topcover over the molded arch piece. The cushion top cover is provided strictly for comfort and cushioning. It is optional to wear and should only be worn in shoes where have you removed a cushion pad.
Cycle Insole:

1. Remove the original sock liner from your shoe. Usually these are removeable, but sometimes are slightly glued. Use the flat edge of a screwdriver to remove any excess foam or glue to ensure a smooth bottom of the shoe.
2. Insert your custom orthotic into the shoe. It should fit in perfectly and sit flat on the bottom of the shoe. It may be necessary to trim the insole for length or width. If so, trim carefully with sharp scissors. Be sure not to cut the insoles too short. You will feel the front edge with your toes if this is the case.
3. The cycling insole should never be worn in any type of walk/run shoe. The cycling insole is full length and will crack at the flex point if worn in a shoe that flexes in the forefoot. It may be transferred into footwear such as rollerblades or skates and interchangeable between different cycling shoes.
Insole Care
Do not expose your insoles to heat, leave them in a car or in the sun on a hot day. Heat will warp the insoles and they cannot be remolded. If they get wet, let them air dry out of the sun.
Breaking Them In
You may only be able to wear the insoles a couple of hours a day for the first week or two. Listen to your body. If you need a break from the insoles, remove them and try them the next day. Pressure points may move around, but anything that does not disappear can be adjusted. Contact us if you have any problems that do not go away within about 2 weeks.
It is a good idea to replace your custom orthotics every 2 to 3 years. Our lightweight orthotics should be replaced every year.
